how come after a post moves down 2 or 3 spaces no one ever replies to them? I have had some that are visible without scrolling but noone ever answers… shows you how much people care
What posts are you talking about? Sometimes it takes a few days to get a response, remember this is a forum not a chatroom. If someone knows the answer or has a suggestion, they will reply.

I can tell you that every post made here at BBB is looked at. The majority of the time, we do have an answer, however although our members do have a great collective wealth of knowledge, we don’t know everything.
But no post ever gets ignored.
Of course, in order to increase your chances of getting a good reply, then you should give as much detail as possible in your post.
A search of all of your posts shows that there are replies in all of them. Perhaps you are a bit confused? I don’t see any other reason why you would possibly offend the most helpful forum members on the net!

If you are talking about the file transfers topic you posted, then I can assure you – we care. But hey, if you want to set up a home network without investing anything, how on earth are we supposed to help you?
I find it extremely offensive that you tell me I don’t care, after I’ve been trying to help you with your network for the past five days. I hope you can take this back.
its not that… I have a few post that HAVE replys but when people see 2 or 3 replys they dont post anymore and a lot of times the question isnt answered… I am not dissing BBB fourms, I love them

Now, I remember reading the thread in question at the time, and thinking that it was quite a difficult problem – thus I had no suggestions.
Dave has posted, and given his suggestion. Others haven’t necessarily not decided to post, it it most likely because they don’t know the answer. As I stated previously, if someone knows the answer, they will post it.
Think of the number of posts if everyone said, “Sorry, I don’t know”. That would be pointless.
I appreciate that it is frustrating when you can’t get an answer to your question, however that is part of life in general.
