Some time ago i deleted a yahoo username but i now find i need to retrieve this can anyhelp me with a process to get this name back
you have to sign in to your yahoo account and it will reactivate… if you dont know your password anymore then go to the password recovery thing and put your info in and have them create a new password.
I found out that its possible to retreive yahoo id’s but not accounts. If you’ve had 2 ids on your account but deleted one of them, you can later go back and make an account with that id’s name.i find this a bit of a security issue though as anybody who knows you used to have an id but you deleted it could go on yahoo and get a mail account with that same screen name and pretend to be you.
Yahoo! id’s you set for deletion get wiped after 90 day’s doing so.
Yahoo! reserve the right to offer the id to newcomers if they feel it appropiate before the 90 day’s.
You can try and retrieve it within the 90 day’s, after that you have no chance.(unless noone has remade it)
If you do retrieve it you must know all your Data from when you had it will not be present, buddies, e-mails, options…etc..will all be deleted.
