Older versions of Yahoo! Messenger

Is anyone useing a version of yahoo older than 5.0? I want to use version 3.5 but it refuses to connect, tells me it’s too old and asks me if I want to upgrade. If anyone is useing an older version I’d like to know how you got it to work. And don’t tell me to use trillian, it’s never worked right for me and I’m not too fond of it.

aaron. two things…..
yahoo had to do some serious security updates which is why the old versions often do not work…..
and they changed the log in protocols….
i seriously doubt you will find anyone who has a version below 5.0 that logs in.

I remember some months ago downloading the older Yahoo Messenger version through http://www.Yahooligans.com. You might want to try that?
