To prove, I’ll do anything you want me to do in PHP, as long as it echoes in plaintext. I can connect to a database and grab information, etc.

Congratulations. Obviously no can just type that out.I’m kind of cheating. I created a PHP script does the calculations I need, and then overwrites index.htm, using command-line PHP, then I set that to do it at a certain interval. It works, but it’s not great. Once you have the PHP script running, I added it to a batch file that also closes and re-opens aim. I want to figure out how to dynamically update it though.
You could also do anything randomized, quotes etc. You can grab website statistics, grab news posts or anything else of the sort. You can Instant Message me if you want to know how, I may write a tutorial soon.
Could you show us how it is done? And is it possible to have things to the minute/sec in countdowns?
Yes it is possible, but you have to set the interval to every second and I’m not sure how smoothly it will run.
