Has anybody else seen this movie?
We watched it in english the other day and it really is a gripping, realistic and shocking insight into domestic violence. It’s easily one of the best movies i’v ever seen, up there with the likes of Pulp Fiction, A Few Good Men and Terminator 2.
I believe there is a sequal, but I havnt seen it and I can’t remember the name of it.
So ahs anyone else seen it?
I’ve just watched the film literally a week ago. It’s our close study film in *shock* Film Studies.
Its such a powerful film, and from what I know…there isn’t a sequal.
As for what I think of the film, I think the most powerful bit is where Jake sees that Grace has hung herself, and he just doesn’t do anything. The fact that this physically superior man, who solves all his problems with violence can do nothing, just makes you realise how bad the situation actually is.
