It seems like this topic isn’t very popular here, does anybody here play any games online or even offline (lol no not solitaire or minesweeper) If so tell us what you play, and if you would reccomend it to anyone else:rolleyes:
January 30, 2003 at 8:28 am #64729AnnaParticipantOkay believe it or not – i’m still struggling to finish playing the very first Myst……………………………… yes, the Windows 3.1 version.
I started the game years ago – but took a…… 8 year haitus – the scary sounds n’ pictures frightened lil’ wee Anna back then (she was still trying to discover the secret behind shoelaces, velcro shoes were just so not in).
I believe it’s just a brilliant game – you don’t really find that many games around anymore that can actually make you think. It really was ahead of it’s time…
January 30, 2003 at 9:23 pm #64734Spider_manMemberDid you try out any of the newer Mysts?
January 31, 2003 at 1:33 am #64728AnnaParticipantNo actually I haven’t. Myst III looks kind of cool though……
I think I’ll finish up Myst before I start any newer Mysts.I sometimes play Worms Armageddon too…………………………………….. 😮
January 31, 2003 at 1:37 am #64733Spider_manMemberLOL I know it’s a terrible thing to bring up……but have you tried cheating:o….I know it spoils the fun but sumtimes when you get really frustrated its a last resort.
Worms Armageddon…I’ve heard of that but i never saw it, what kind of game is it?January 31, 2003 at 6:08 am #64727AnnaParticipantYes I have actually. I’ve skipped worlds. **blushes**
I had once found a really great Myst cheat site (can’t seem to find it anymore). Boourns.Hmm. How to describe Worms Armageddon…
You have a team of worms (yes worms) n’ you basically try to destroy your opponent’s team of worms (computer, friend, or online) with a variety of weapons. Despite all the combat – the game always maintains the cute 2D cartoon sense that it originates from. It’s like an advanced version of Lemmings a bit I suppose.Team 17 (developers) will be coming out with Worms 3 soon – it’s going to be all 3D now. 😀
January 31, 2003 at 9:10 pm #64732Spider_manMemberI know a good place for Myst cheats its:

It makes the game last much longer before interest goes.
Alien verses preditor one of the best….also warcraft 3arnie
February 11, 2003 at 12:41 am #64731Spider_manMemberYes the internet definately adds to the replay value of any game by giving you the ability to play with ALOT of different people who each add their own uniqueness to the game, so every time you play it’s a new experience. I definately agree with Warcraft III, it’s a great game both online and offline, I can’t wait till the expansion pack comes out:).
