OpenGL for linux???

Recently I swiched to Mandrake linux 10.0 because I had heard great things about its server capablilities. I am very happy because so far I have been able to setup an apache and FTP server. But I also wanted to setup a stand alone server for Medal of honor: Allied assault, and I wanted to use a linux client that I had found. But the client says that I cannot install because I dont have OpenGL. Now tell me if I’m wrong but I thought OpenGL was a windows-only thing. And if it is, should I install it with WINE windows emulator, or should I find something similar to OpenGL but for linux(if one exists)? Thank you very much for any information.
