Ever since I updated to Opera 9, I’ve had a few different problems. The first one was, the previous flash I had for Opera dissapeared when I upgraded. I had to download the flash plugin again so that I could view ANY flash. Now, I can view SOME flash. Some sites that have it intergraded I cannot… I don’t know what to do since I already have flash and can view SOME.
Also, on my Yahoo Mail, I have a HUGE blank space at the top and I don’t know why it’s there. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue in Yahoo Mail with Opera and maybe how to correct it.
Thanks. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/coangr/yahoomailbigspace.jpg

As for your problem, there are a miriad of sources for the trouble…we’ll just have to work through each one I guess :
So..here goes…
What version of Opera 9?
What version of Flash?
Anything else you feel would help me help you, please include.
Although that is weird that you had to re-download the Flash plugin. Hmm.

I
l’ll agree with you on that one 😛Detn8r, I just checked, using the same build as Opera as you, no white space in Yahoo Mail.

July 20, 2006 at 10:42 pm #148428darkeyes912MemberI’m also using version 8501 of Opera 9 and 9.0.16.0 of Flash… I have a large white space at the top of Yahoo! mail as well and while I didn’t have to redownload the Flash plugin, Flash takes an unusually long amount of time to load.

The issue is caused by the change in the location of the plugins directory. Actually, a simple copy and paste job should fix your problem too.
Old: “operaplugins”
New: “operaprogramplugins”That should fix it. If not, we will try some other stuff.

July 21, 2006 at 3:17 am #148425imported_EvilSephMemberEvery file in the old directory to the new directory. Essesntially reinstalling your plugins properly.
July 21, 2006 at 4:40 pm #148422detn8rParticipantI don’t have the old directory for the plugins. :
