Also, more news, a full version of otsego with all of the promised features will be out soon according to Fixer. He said it should be about a week to beta test and finish scripting everything.
It definitely needs work and I definitely think the otsego process should boot from start up… my buddylist settings aren’t always saving etc. but for some reason it shows promise.

and if thats blocked try using an anonymous proxy — goto surfola.com… and if thats blocked.. I dunno. my school doesnt block anything.. since middle school I havent had the problem.edit: surfola doesnt work anymore.. so adbwa.
Do you have XP home or Pro? Did you have this problem at first and then got it working?

haha. I should be on there after all this. ive been defending since december. lol. but anyways: im using xp home… ive done nothing but follow the installation instructions (kept clicking next). I reinstalled both aim and otsego // everything still ran fine. cant imagine your problem.
what version of aim do you have to be running for ostego to work and will it work with deadaim? I know someone said it worked along with deadaim but I just want to make sure.
im using version 5.2.3292 ……and I also downloaded the new version of aim…5.5 and it still wouldnt work.
Works for me…in the sense that I get the menus. But none of the features work. Is it because of my installation of DeadAIM?

Also, someone asked what my source is, its that I have been talking to Fixer about this all through production, and apparently keeping him working on it. So I was talking to him all the way up to when he was finishing the installer.
Also, I have found that Otsego works with both Aimutation and Deadaim.
One way to do it is to add a shortcut to Ostego to the folder:
C:Documents and Settings[Your username, or All Users]Start MenuProgramsStartup
This may not work if you don’t use XP.I have a suggetion for Ostego (BTW):
Make the Ostego menu accessable from the My AIM menu button, too.
