MemberRegistered users of Extreme Messenger (http://www.ExtremeMessenger.com) have access to all these smiley styles. The Extreme Messenger version will automatically insert the smiley into the IM when you select one, and can optionally send the IM when you click the smiley as well.

THANKYAAA!Well, you know how you can type something like 🙂 to send a smiley face? Well the “code” is the character combination that tells AIM to display a little picture instead of text. The new smileys use a similar (but much longer) code.
Does that answer your question?

That would be nice, but it’s not something I can control. These smileys, unlike the default yellow smileys, only come in one size. That’s defined by AOL and can only be changed by them.

You don’t actually “add” the smileys to AIM… you use them.
Carefully read our BigBlueBall Smiler Overview, where you’ll learn how to use Smiler and how to add it to your Links bar to make it easy to launch.
In a nutshell, you click on the smiley you want to insert. When you see the code for that smiley appear in the text box, click the “Copy to Clipboard” button. Then in your IM window, press CTRL-V or use Edit > Paste to insert the smiley into your instant message or chat. That’s about it.
One final note… you must be running AIM 5.1 or newer!

Hopefully not too often! [:P] So far, they’ve come in two big waves. The first batch included about 100 different smiley sets. The second batch was release a couple weeks ago, and it took me a while to catch up. 😮
Unfortunately, I don’t have any say in what the smileys are, but maybe AOL is listening… and maybe they’ll take a hint! 😀
