Since the Yahoo no longer works on Trillian I been using Yahoo! Messenger. That reminded me of the overwrite feature that AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger all have. I was wondering if there was a Trillion plugin or hack for it.
You type text but you decide you don’t like it or you misspell something. By hitting insert in MSN, AIM, & YIM you can overwrite what is currently there. Say I typed Fat Cats Fly, but I really mean Fat Cows Fly. By hitting inserts I can eliminate hitting the backspace or delete key and move the cursor in front of the first letter I want to change and start typing from there the correct letters.
Try it Word and you will see what I mean.
I dont know of anything that adds the insert/overwrite function to Trillian. But I’m just letting you know that Yahoo does work in trillian now. You may need to download the patch from their website (http://www.trillian.cc) but it does work.
