Pakistan bowled England out for 175 after lunch on the final day to win the first Test in Multan by 22 runs.
Leg-spinner Danish Kaneria finished with 4-62, while Shoaib Akhtar took 3-49 and Mohammad Sami 2-31.
Andrew Strauss and Ian Bell added 40 to the overnight 24-1 but after they were caught off Kaneria the tourists folded. Only Geraint Jones (33) provided any real resistance as the hosts took a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series, which continues in Faisalabad on Sunday.
What’s your comments…?:)
“The wows after Ashes were too much….”We miss Michael Vaughen (However you spell that last name). Ian Bell isn’t up to the job. Had a terrible Ashes series by everyone else’s standards, the selectors gave him another chance, he’s the weakest player in the squad.
Oh, and the “wows” after the Ashes wern’t too much. Imagine if your lot had beaten Australia over 5 Tests.
