Home › Forums › Archives › Instant Messaging › AIM Support › PalFun – Where does it save aliases to?
i’m starting to use palfun now for aim.. but I format my computer alot.. when you give people aliases does it save these to a certain file? if so what’s the filename and where’s it located. This was I can replace the file after it’s installed and I won’t have to manually change everybodys id’s again.
also is there any known issues with palfun?
I don’t know the answer to your main question, but, for your 2nd question, I know for me, (and many others on the support forum) making a profile does not work. It won’t show up. It’s a known bug many people have.
bump
it saves them to a registry location
you can edit them etc with regedit.exe
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePalfunAliases]
save the entries and you can save your alias list. good stuff =)
