…Has anyone played it?
One of my roommates got it for his birthday, and I thought it looked pretty silly… just another Mario RPG, except they’re paper, right? Wondering what the big deal is about, I finally sat down today and started playing…
…And I didn’t get up five hours! The game is very “light” and “friendly”, but every bit as addictive.
My stomach tells me I probably forgot to eat anything today too.
Comments? (About the game, not my stomach :p)

Honestly, I sat around and played that thing for around 6 hours. It was -insane-. Sure, I’ve been known to do the same for plenty of games, but something as…simple as that? I dont know, sometimes you just want something mind numbing.
November 20, 2004 at 4:08 am #105357Hurricane22491MemberI played Paper Mario, and after hearing about how great Paper Mario 2 was, I decided that I must have this one as well. So I went out to buy it a few days later, and the game is totally awesome. Really great games. Meaning both of them.
November 20, 2004 at 4:14 am #105358SpikeMemberI also enjoyed the addictiveness of Paper Mario. It was kind of different, getting used to his flatness, though…Still, a great step in the Mario Evolution.
November 20, 2004 at 4:49 pm #105355OreoMemberBecoming 2-dimensional…is that “evolution” or “devolution?” I suppose it is what you look at that matters….It all sounds pretty cool. I think it’s also available on Project64 emultion….only if your copy’s being repaired or something 😉
November 21, 2004 at 1:37 pm #105354Jeff HesterKeymasterI played this Paper Mario game and I got addicted. It has pretty funny yet light humor and I like the whole paper effect. I haven’t played it in ages though.
