Hi wise.cracker and welcome to the Big Blue Ball. Your question will be most quickly answered at the Yahoo Messenger Support forum; or you can do a search to see if it has been posted before. Use the search function on the second dark blue line below the logo. It’s towards the right.
I’m glad you stopped by, and hope you will take a moment to introduce yourself to us when you get your answer.
You mean vb_packets’ menu updates? You can find them on Google if your lucky enough to find an old version. I suppose you can reshack res_msgr.dll yourself to change/add menus.
yes 6.1 works fine someone in here had a patch that gave it the same options as 5.6 and since 5.6 does not work any more I went to 6.1
no some one here had the patch for 6.1 to reduse the im box size and it also had some of the same options as 5.6 where you could right click on the name on friends list and join user
The size patch for versions 6 and 7 was posted in this thread https://bigblueball.com/forums/yahoo-messenger-support/23262-yahoo-messenger-6-size-patch-updated.html?highlight=yahoo+patch%23
