Trying to use either Yahoo or MSN my PC crashes each time i click hands free to start talking… Blue screen. Mic and speekers are working fine in all tests but not in IM. Any kind of help would be great.
Give us a few more details.
- What is your operating system? Windows 98? XP Home?
- What versions of Yahoo! Messenger and/or MSN Messenger are you using?
- What kind of connection do you have to the Internet? Dial-up? Cable? DSL?
- And finally, has voice chat ever worked on this computer for either of those programs?
win 2000 pro yahoo messenger 5.5 msn messenger 5.0 dial-up 56k . yes worked on both only for a short time . in yahoo i get as far as clicking hands free the bar lights up greene ready to talk but as soon as i talk the whole thing crashes .blue screne
cant find drivers .on the disc that came with this card are four different num.Xwave-5100 Xwave6000 Xwave-7000 Xwave-512 plus XG s-yxg50 v3.1 went to yamaha site but got confused with all the crap .they want you to goin this and that no job for a fisherman.
feel the rythem. great job went to win update and found drivers waiting for down load.downloaded and so far no crash didnt talk to anyone yet but can talk into mic and hold talk button down without crash never done that for a while thanks a lot.would you advise me to download all of the things like direct x9 and so on that windows up date has for me. thanks again
