Hello, I found this board while searching the net for my issue at hand
I have 2 issues
1-
There is this guy, he will not leave me alone, I put him on Ignore everyday. and when I wake up, I find he’s sent me a message and is no longer in my ignore list.2-
Since I sometimes leave my messenger logged in over night and when I wake up, I’ve been logged out, the message says to log back in with the 3 options, signin troubles, try again, and create user.I changed my password several times and this is still happening, if anyone has any ideas to offer or a fix for this, I’d really appreciate it, as I surely hate the idea of creating a new ID.
thanks

Yahoo Version 7.0.0.437 w/VoiceMarch 3, 2006 at 6:25 pm #139324OreoMemberWell, there are a number of programs here on the site (I’ll do a search and put the links here) that would remove YOU from his list…then put his butt on “permanently offline” THEN ignore him.
:new: EDIT Here are the links I found on the site to help you. First is Dermot’s program …he’s is a bit more straight forward that the second, Deny a Buddy you have to scroll all of the way to the bottom for this proggy and then download the one that talks about “all the fish” they have BOTH worked for me in the past and have proven to be sound programs.:new:
It also sounds like he’s got your password and just adds himself back to your list. So I would scan your system for Magic PS and any number of other trojans, especially keyloggers, that might be on your system. CLEAR IT OUT…then change your password. *goes off to find the links*March 14, 2006 at 1:53 am #139325Mac_BlueMemberI suggest you start a brandnew Yahoo account, transfer all your friends to the new account (Or give them nofication again) and then that guy won’t ever bother you again.
If you can find his IP address, report him! He is harressing you!
