People that are appearing invisible

You want to see if someone is really online when their status is set to invisible? Not possible.

You :DCAN :Dfind out if a person is invisible. Its a smal trick and may not work always depending on the person (whom you are trying to find out) is smart enough or not.

1) Invite the person for a conference and wait. If the person is online, he/she has to either accept it or deny it. And whatever the person does (accept or deny), you get a conformation.

2) Send a file to the user whose status you want to find out! If you get an acceptance/ deny, you can find out!

The only way this doesnt work if the person does nothing. If the person is offline, you can simply get the message, “the person is offline”. Otherwise you just wait. If it takes too long, then the invisible friend has either dragged the window somewhere else and not click on anything. Or, he/she just might be offline.

Edit: Sorry about that, I thought you were referring to ICQ. Anyways, I hate when people go in invisible mode on yahoo messenger.

yea i think there is a way,but works in certain versions of yahoo though,but it works 4 me

method:
When you try to access another user’s shared files, you will get a pop-up
with a message that either reads “Asking for permissions” or “user offline”.
Even if the user is marked Invisible, you will still recieve a message
confirming that the user is online and is being asked to allow you
permissions. So even when your friends look like they are offline, right
click on thier name and select “View Shared Files” to find out for sure!

Yet, if the user is online in invisible mode and you
ask for his shared files, he will likely get a pop-up
telling him that someone is trying to access his
files. This probably depends on his security
preferences.

So yes the it works, but you might be letting
know your “victim” that you’re after him.
