Has anyone tried phonegaim? It has free pc to phone calling.

When you read the fine print, they provide calling using SIPphone.com, which provides some free PC-to-phone calling in certain areas and with certain conditions. Mainly though, they offer a paid phone service.

I think it’s time to do some comparison testing and publish the results. Anyone interested in helping?

I can offer my two cents for Skype.

My dad recently travelled all around Asia on a business trip for about a month. To call people, because it was pretty cheap, he used Skype. He said the quality was GREAT. Even better than phones in some cases. He has used Skype-Skype and Skype-Phone. I’ve only done Skype-Skype but it works great.

Well, this does sound Kinda cool, but AIM comes with an AIM phone already in there I think. On one of the little menus you put on the side.
It doesn’t matter for me, I don’t have the equiptment set up, but I’d rather use Skype and Skype-out. Even though this does sound cool *cough* Skype’s cooler*sneeze*
