I made a php file to foward to the aim protocol to open a message window.. this works fine in Firefox.. but not for IE6.. do you have any idea if I can make something similiar so it will work in both IE and Firefox?
header(“Location: aim:goim?screenname=Jon+Indie&message=hey,+I+saw+you+on+myspace.+:)!”);
exit;
?>
The problem is that IE is taking that 301 and making it into an HTTP request.. and it can’t handle it like that. What I think you can do, is use javascript window.href.
That’s not tested though, since I don’t have AIM.
