I have a tremendous problem keeping track on what threads i’m involved in and i’m guessing that I probably don’t reply in some of them because I forgot that I even replied in that thread.
This mod will give you a little extra icon beside the post icon if you have participated in the thread. If an admin would install this mod, it would probably make life easier for many of us 🙂

Nice idea. I support it – although, this modification may not be compatible with Snitz forum software if one is found for Snitz I’d throw her in BBBv3.

I hope we don’t add this, do you have any idea how much of a performance decrease we will have with this, another query would need to be run for every topic on active.asp, forum.asp and search.asp, that would kill loading times. Not to mention the server strain. :S
I dont notice any load decrease on the 100’s of other sites that have this already……
Hmmmmm,we’ll have to wait and see……….(I kinda hope it is added,hard for me 2 remember where i’ve posted!!!!)

How many of those 100 sites were you visitng before you add the feature added? How much bandwidth do they consume each money? How many visitors do they have daily? What is the current page load time?

Well most sites im on are running either Vbulletin or Phpbb and they both run fine with it……….
What reaally slows down load times is AVATARS,which I see you guys have UPLOADING AVATARS disabled……….Also when peeps post High Quality [ img ] links to show a picture,that really slows it down (Especially for users on 56k)…..
I dunno,sede about adding the mod AS A TEST and see how it does (Maybe only add it on the mod base before making it global) I think you’ll be happy

It still isn’t worth the drag it would be put on the server. Stop being lazy. The Dude, your arguements are flawed. High quality images aren’t being display 15 times on the main forum listing for everyone to see, neither are the avatars. Plus, we do our best to not allow high quality images to be posted, rather to be linked to.
