MemberWelcome to BigBlueBall, attic75.
Someone could be gaining access to your account in several ways. I’d recommend scanning your machine for three things, Adware, Spyware, and Viruses. Below are a list of program recommendations for this job.
Adware: Ad-aware SE
Spyware: Spybot S&D
Viruses: Free Online Virus ScanI’d also recommend a firewall of some sort, namely ZoneAlarm.
Make sure you remove anything found by these programs.
The above programs are recommendations only, there are alternatives, but they are programs which I have used and can confirm that they do the job.

MemberI’m not really sure if there is anything you can do, as I’ve never experienced anything like this myself. You could always try contacting Yahoo! and asking them to reset your password, but I can’t guarentee that they’d do much.
Before doing anything though, scan your computer with the programs I suggested before, as whoever has got your password may very well have something installed on your system without your knowledge.

MemberYes,. The Thing With Me,. Is They Didnt Change My Password,. When It Happened,. I Quickly Went And Changed It Myself. But There Are Programs That Some Ppl Have,. That Run Hundreds Of Passwords Automatically, Just To Get Your Account. I Suppose They Have No Life, And Only Enjoy Creating Problems. But You Can Call Yahoo,….. Give Them Your Old Password,. And Verify The Secret Question,. May Take Some Persistance,. But They Will Probably Help You. Good Luck

Try “forgot password” and fill in the information assuming you know it and that will give you a new password and from there make sure you make one that isn’t easy to get or change it weekly to prevent someone from figuring it out.attic75 wrote:but i really do not understand how did they manage to get my passwords…i mean i never received any file through messenger..can you explain how it works?
There is probably tons of ways they could have done this, but i don’t think anyone will tell you many reasons in detail by fear you might be trying to do the same.

To start a thread simply go to the section you need help in…If it’s about Yahoo go to Yahoo Messenger Support and click New Topic and you type your question there.
Hope that helps.
