Hi, this isn’t really an IM question or related to Yahoo, but I wasn’t sure where else to post it, and you guys have always been so helpful in the past, I wanted to ask you.
My friend has been making posts in a forum she belongs to, and she’s worried that someone will trace her IP to verify identity, address, etc. She was asking me if there is a way to change/hide her IP, so that it cannot be discovered. I am not very computer savvy, so I told her I’d look into it. If she does change/hide her IP, will the previous posts made in the forum reflect that change, or will they still be attached to her old IP address?? If anyone could let me know, or if anyone has a site etc. that may be of use, please advise.
Thanks-
Before posting first of all make sure that you have searched BigBlueBall for your problem; As this topic ”Tracing IP address” is discussed in past so here is a search made for the keywords ”tracing IP address“. Read the threads on this topic and you will know as much as computer savvys know about IP address and tracking it.:)
