Ok, I’ve searched and read for almost an hour, and I give up! (So many interesting instructional posts appear to be years old, and probably no longer applicable – and nowhere can I find clear uptodate guidelines/FAQ/Help/whatever. 🙁 )
HOW does one Post A Poll ?
I see that 2 years ago Jeff created this Special Forum for anyone(?) to post polls to, and indeed I see the last one was just a few days ago.
So – I open New Topic there, enter my post text, then tick “Yes, Post a Poll with this topic”. I then preview my post, and nowhere have I been given a place to enter my poll choices – so – I don’t Submit it.
What’s the problem, please, someone ?
Act as if you’re posting a normal thread, and at the bottom, check the “Yes, post a poll with this topic” box. Enter your number of choices which you require in your poll, then press submit.
A new page will them be delivered allowing you to enter your poll choices, then you can submit the poll as normal.
I think you have to click Submit as opposed to Preview. Should work 🙂

Thanks for that – indeed it worked as you outlined.A pity there’s this one exception to my normal rule, which is always PREVIEW my post as a final check – seems that’s impossible for Polls. Oh well….
(BTW, sorry 2 C U got into trouble in another thread, trying to help me out ;))
