I originally tried to post this in the Yahoo! News Section, but it wouldn’t let me, which led to me writing this bug report.
I typed out the entire message you see in the thread linked to above, and received the following error message when trying to submit it:
Quote:The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:- The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.
I’ve tried this in IE7 and Netscape, same problem. Obviously, the message I typed was more than 5 characters!
This has been happening for some time for me as well but recently it has been fixed and I can post news just fine.
I have to say though that I get this error when I click on preview message.How recently was it fixed? I tried it on the day of posting this thread, and obviously it was a problem then!
Elisa – I see what you mean, but I don’t see how that would explain the error message. Hum…it’s strange really, like it’s not picking up the characters that I’ve typed in.
Jeff, have you got any info on this? Just if other people have the same problem, it might put them off posting news articles, I know it’d put me off.
