KeymasterI’ve been having this problem starting this week. Whenever I try to reply to a post and my reply is more than say a paragraph long, once I hit reply or preview the page stays loading and loading until finally I get an error on the next page. I try again and same thing. So to experiment a little further I kept to a minimum of what you see right now. I hit reply, and it works.
I’ve been having to cut short all my posts since what I write (which isn’t really long to begin with) doesn’t load once I hit reply or try to preview it. Even this post itself I had to cut down on words. Quite strange…
I took a lil video of it so you can see for yourself, but it’s a bit too big to set as an attachment here.

ParticipantInteresting. That is quite curious.
Email that video to me or something, and I’d be more than happy to host it for you. 🙂

MemberI’ll try to help, too, but I have to ask: What browser are you using?

ParticipantI just had no problem posting 7.02 KB (7,190 bytes) of text under Firefox 1.5.0.1

ParticipantNo problem with IE 6.0.2900.2180 either.

KeymasterI’m using FireFox 1.5. I don’t know why but lately ever since I got my wireless router some sites won’t let me upload *including BBB* or load. I don’t think that is it though otherwise I wouldn’t be able to post at all either.
EDIT: Alright I managed to upload my video to my google site (google pages rocks!) and you can see it by saving target as or clicking HERE
You’ll have to set your windows media player or whatever you use to full screen, and not showing the menu bar at the bottom when in full screen so you can see it all. Sorry about the choppyness of the video.

KeymasterMiamiguy, so the problem started when you added a wireless router to the mix? If so, it would seem that the problem lies somewhere in the configuration of the router.
What kind of router did you get?

KeymasterJeff although my router has given me some weird problems when it comes to uploading in sites…posting hasn’t been a problem at all in other forums just in BBB. I don’t know what’s up. Whenever it’s a long post it doesn’t preview or post it.

KeymasterRight, but did the problem exist before you added the router?

KeymasterGood question so I decided to unplug the router and connect directly to the internet and I posted a pretty long post in Computer section and worked just fine so this is a problem with my router and not anything else…dangit. I go to all the options in my router and there’s nothing I see that I can check or uncheck or fill in that would solve this problem. I couldn’t even upload a new avatar until I did it without the router being connected! Strange how some sites I have no problem uploading or posting and some do. Grrr! I can’t even do Windows Updates and connect to a lot of Microsoft related stuff so I guess my router hates Microsoft. *chuckles* Anyway since you asked this is my router.

ParticipantJust a thought that ran through my head…maybe there is a setting of how many bytes at once can go through your router, you said uploading and long posts, well..maybe it has something to do with that? I really don’t know, and kinda doubt it, but it was just an idea.
