I used to have a version of A.I.M., A.I.M. + which allowed for INSTANT VOICE chat with another person using the program, it had moving banners: one that could be used for stock market updates and one that was a moving banner that could be used for news stories; the speed of the banners were adjustable: slow, medium, and high.
This was before they started to put ADS in the box at the bottom; before that point, it had a fixed ad that could be downsized to eliminate one seeing it. (Then the next version had different advertising in the box below which was anoying). Also, when one used it for instant voice with another user, there was a neat graphical interface that had bars that went up and down depending on the voice levels.
COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT VERSION OF A.I.M. + THAT WAS AND WHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD IT? It was great; then my HD crashed and I lost the download and THE ENTIRE PROGRAM!

But I have no idea of it still works. Even back in 2003, AIM+ had compatibility problems with AIM.
If on the other hand, you just want an old version of AIM, you can find it here: AOL Instant Messenger – DOWNLOAD at OLD VERSION.COM
Hope this helps!
