Hi all, I’m new to the forum.
Just a couple of questions….
Can a blocked contact see “what i’m listening to?”
If I change my user name or personal message, will a blocked contact see the change immediately and therefore realise that I’m actually online?
Thanks
if they have the right prog they can know when your online, or if your hiding or signing on as offline and then also see what ever your listening to even if there blocked…… the easiest thing to do is just not to block people……..
what program does this exactly?
I am sure there maybe programs that will allow those you have blocked to see many things but being that you blocked them it could most likely mean you had a falling out with this person. Chances are they are not going to spy on you although it is possible. It could also be possible they don’t have you on their contact list any longer. if you go to tools then to options and go to privacy and look on the contact list their should be a box that says alert me when other people add me to their contact list the box should be checked and a view button above that when clicked will show you all those that have you on their list. if this person is their just email them and ask them to please remove you from their list. chances are they will do as you ask.
I haven’t fallen out with anyone. It’s just that at times I prefer not to have to chat with all my contacts, so I temporarily block them. I’m just curious about the original questions I asked. No huge drama. So if anyone can shed any light, I’d appreciate it.
I’m giving this another shot…anyone?
No, a blocked contact will see you only as offline.
