1. Are there ways for hackers to tap into cam or PM transmissions? Many on here are afraid their cam image will be seen by others.
2. Can someone take a cam image and broadcast it to other chatters without the sender’s knowledge? Does that have to occur in a chat room or can it happen in PM?
3. Ypager commits an illegal operation. Does that mean I’m booted, even with the latest YTunnel or is that another glitch in Ypager?kfinpgh wrote:1. Many on here are afraid their cam image will be seen by others.As far as i know, and my experience in Yahoo chat, viewing webcam without the owners knowledge or approval is not possible unless a trojan is inside your system which give unauthorized access to your PC from outside. Check your webcam setting, there is a setting that will automatically approve request when your in a chatroom or if those that requested to view your cam are in your list.

The possibility of being booted using the YPager error cannot be eliminated. If after having the stable build, and you still experience this error frequently , you can bet that your are being booted.Ypager.exe is the main application of Y! Messenger on any build and can contain that error for numerous reasons.
Some boots will cause a Ypager.exe crash or even your pc could cause one.
Usually when your pc says Ypager.exe has caused an illegal operation it will give you a link to find out which part of the program actually caused the failure like a dll file…etc.
“Ypager” is the internal name of Yahoo! Messenger any crash with any part of it will say Ypager.exe so no need to panic.
