Wow that was hard.
Yeah basically what happens is the direct connection isn’t terminated when you sign off and your friends will leave you alone because they see you as signed off.The problem with ghosting is if someone IM’s you you still get the IM. That’s not alto likely though…unless there’s something called an “invisible detector”. The ghosting ability is aabused too much…people have decided it would be a lot of fun to click the eye a billion times. Good thing clicking the eye is like sending an IM so you can only do it about six times. When the ghosting ability is abused, you can tell whether they’re ghosting or not. Another way to know if someone is ghosting is if they sign off,on,off within about 3-5 seconds…
