I have 2 comps. On the other when I write a private message, the comp is remember that, and after days, maybe weeks if I log in again the private message is still written (the messenger remembers it), but on this computer, when I write private message, after 1 signout and sign in, the private message dissapear (it’s blank). What’s the problem!? I have reinstalled the messenger few times bit it’s the same. Oh.. I forgot. I have Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812.00. Is it a problem with the messenger or with my comp!?
You will need to go to Tools –> Options –> Messages, and then towards the bottom is “Message History.” Make a checkmark in both boxes, and then the messages will show in the window next time you chat!
