I am new on here, and am wondering how to “fix” a messenger problem. As I stated, it has probably been asked and answered repeatedly, but….
Some time back, I used to be able to see “potential” contacts when on Yahoo messenger. I was not logged into IM; merely Yahoo. There, I used to be able to see someone’s picture, click on it, and then request that they “accept” me. In addition, I could also see who THEY in turn were friends with, and request they add me as well. I used to be able to go through (sometimes) dozens of requests at a time. I think that Yahoo used to limit the number to a certain amount in each session, but regardless, it was never really an issue. As a result, I now have a very large contact list.
HOWEVER, now I can not even FIND where the potential contacts are! Is it a Firefox issue? Is it a newer version of Yahoo issue? I have no idea where to go; I have typed in this question on Google, etc., and found nothing relating to not being able to even find potential contacts. There is plenty about not being able to see your CURRENT contact list, but nothing on adding others.
Any help would be appreciated!
yahoo people search?
try Yahoo! Search – People Search
if you mean in the yahoo mail window pane, i think they removed it from there.
