Problem 80072ee6

Need help logging into Live messenger when ever i try i get error 80072ee6 come up.

I have never had this problem with any of the previous MSN messengers. It said it may be my firewall, however i turned off my firewall briefly as this didn’t solve the problem.

Any ideas? Please help.

I use firefox would this be a problem?

Firefox has nothing to do with WLM, so no it shouldn’t be the problem. Have you tried doing a reinstall? Do you have any Addons installed like MsgPlus! or the MessPatch?

Yeah i have messenger plus 3 still installed

OK, well try uninstalling WLM & Plus and then reinstall WLM only, see if it gets rid of the problem. If it does, try putting Plus back on. I have WLM & Plus running just fine, so it shouldn’t technically be the problem. But the best place to start is generally the uninstall & reinstall option.
