Is it just me or do @live.com accounts not work with Pidgin? I lack a hotmail or msn account now so I’m not able to try that out but does anybody know if connecting to a @live.com account requires different port or host login info? I tried Trillian as well and it too does not connect to my @live.com account. Anybody have any solution to this?

I know this doesn’t solve your problem, but it does seem to indicate that it should work.
February 11, 2008 at 11:25 pm #166828Jeff HesterKeymasterHmm yeah I got it to work but for some reason I had to make my password shorter in order for it to work. I don’t know why this fixes it but I can connect again. Strange I can connect just fine with a long password in Windows Live Messenger but in other clients I had to change my password to something shorter for it to work. *shrugs* Anyway thanks for your reply.

Are you still doing your music? Your inspirational songs are still in my shuffle and your version of Sanctuary is my all-time favorite.

I am only doing instrumental classical music now when I have the spare time to do so.
