MemberEverytime I try to join a chat, it doesnt open right away. I have to try 2-3 times to open a chat in order for it to work. Only plus is that I’m no longer getting the timed ad window before chats. Anyone having a similar problem?

MemberYea, I can’t get it to load at all. All I get is the window and it just stays that way.

MemberCrazy bug in 6.0.0.1643
The transition screen with the ad should appear before chat loads, as in 5.6. It did in the beta, in 6 it doesn’t, instead nothing happens, so you have to wait a few seconds then try again, this time chat appears straight away!

KeymasterThis is a Server Side Issue Yahoo Removed the Adult Chatrooms from most of their Servers if you are smart enough like me I will tell you that Yahoo was Applying a few Patches to their servers today and was removing more rooms which caused the rooms to come to a stand still whilst upgrading.
The rooms seem to be fine now but if you get this problem joining a room again then just wait. Also if you have Zone Alarm remove this from your PC as this causes your Web Speed to slow down. I will continue to monitor the progress that is taking place until then wait until I make a updated reply in this topic.

KeymasterIt isent the client because mine now works fine especially when I removed Zone Alarm which was blocking the server Address at some stage! It should work fine its just Yahoo messing about if you cant get into the ChatRooms.

MemberI don’t mind so much the fact that Yahoo “ignores” your first attempt to log into a chatroom (better than the ad screen, anyway) … but I find that if I get a “room full” message, and get too enthuisiastic with repeated attempts to join a room, Yahoo eventually just starts ignoring me. I don’t get the “room full” message anymore, I don’t get anything in response. Sometimes 10-15 minutes later, I’ll get a “request to login took too long to process” message (or something close to that). Does anyone know if that’s a server problem on their end, or am I having memory problems on my PC?

Memberit takes me 3 attempts at least to join a chat room. my quickest way is to select “create a room” three or four times then once open join one of my “favorites”. what are they fiddling about at? come on the mister and misses at yahoo …pull your collective fingers out.
