Whenever I paste something that had colors into an IM box all the previous colors disappear and eveyrthing changes to the font and color that I have set for more IMs. Does anyone know how to fix this so that if I copy in a conversation or part of a word document the colors and font of the original document/conversation are maintained.
Hofman777 – what version of AIM are you using? that might help us figure out if it’s simply a bug or if there’s something you can do to fix it.
I don’t think its possible to paste formatted text into AIM and have it retain its original form. But, it is possible to paste AIM conversations from one IM window to another and have them keep their original colors, so don’t quote me on that.
See, whenever you paste something into an AIM Converstion Window, the text is converted to whatever you have set, I guess the reason is so it looks like what the rest of your text is. Now, I know that Trillian doesn’t do that, it keeps the font and color, but sometimes that gets annoying when you want your font and color back.
