MemberHi, Since I converted to ADSL with router from the dial-up, the function of voice conversation in MSN Messenger was just gone. I know the proper pin hole might be needed to resume this function. But, I don’t know how. Plus, the router vendor seems not quite friendly providing the straight remedy. It will be highly appreciated, if anyone could give me a big help.
My current OS is Windows XP professinal, MSN Messenger is 5.0 and the router is Nokia M1122 router.

MemberHI, Lukezweb: I have tried re-intalling MSN several times before posted this help inquiry. It seems in vain for the resolution of my problem.

MemberHi, Lukezweb: All the functions in MSN Messenger are working well except the PC-to-PC voice conversation. After my computer tried to link with the computer of person whom I wish to talk to and granted the response as “accepted”, it always shows the attempt failed a while later. In other words, the voice conversation has never been established. I know it may because ADSL router is using the Gateway IP to communicate with outside(on the internet) and maintaining the IP of computer goes though ADSL router as private (hiding behind). This blocks the presence of computer’s IP while making the audio transmition request. Therefore, the proper pin holes should be opened to allow the IP visible. Now, the point is how – sepecially for the Nokia M1122 router?
