can anybody help me?
I installed the new yahoo version. after finishing, when I run yahoo, a error box appears. ( yahoo messenger has encountered a problem…. and has 2 botton send error and dont send). all versions I had before work well.
I think thiss problem of winxp, coz’ some other software I installed b4 have the same error ,too( ex. cool edit pro).
plzzz, help me.Try uninstalling Yahoo Messenger, then remove all registry keys related to Yahoo Messenger, then install it again. If that doesn’t work, then try running Messenger in compatibility mode. And if that doesn’t work, make sure you have administrative rights and try running YM then.

You do need the latest version of flash installed and is the last time I am going to mention this in Topics , Also right click My Computer then go to Properties now go to Advanced Tab now you see the Error Reporting go and click that tab you will see at the Top you will have the option to disable error reporting and to disable critical errors , disable both of them then reboot your PC , Redownload Yhaoo and see what happens if this dont help try a Windows Washer on your System! (*You shouldent have to do this*)
Is that actually the problem though? The original post didn’t ask to prevent error messages, admittedly, it was slightly unclear on the question.
Does Yahoo Messenger constantly crash, and you want to sort it so that Yahoo Messenger doesn’t crash? Or do you just want to get rid of the error messages? Or both?
i’m having the same problems, I cant get ytunnel and yahoo to connect.I’m a lil slow. I have 2 questions. I had to redo my computor, and when I came back on line. everythng went to hell. although the new messenger looks good, I cant do wht I use to,1. how do I get it the old messenger back.. take it slow whn you explain it to me.. i’m special.lol…2. I had ytunnel pro.. now that has changed and my old keys doesnt work, do you have any suggestions where I can get a key, so as to take this ytunnel basic off.any help would be appericated…:D
