Problem with Yahoo! Messenger paid voice services

The Yahoo! Messenger team is reporting problems with their paid voice services, as noted on their blog:

We are currently experiencing problems with our paid voice services (Phone Out) on Yahoo! Messenger. Opening a new Phone Out account or addings funds to an existing account are currently disabled.

Please note that making calls through the Phone Out service is available (as well as free PC-to-PC calls). The issues only occur if you are trying to open a new account or purchase additional minutes for an existing account.

We are working on fixing the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. Thanks for your patience.
