if anyone has any info on this please help,,,,i have searched for this topic but not found anything on this. My friend has just loaded the newest version of yahoo messenger…..and their id appears offline on my buddy list but online in their profile……heres the strange part…they say they are not online at that time i check but if you check the profile its online , check it again its off, check it again its on again and so on and so on,,,,,this is if i check the profile one right after another….any ideas?
I Know,. My Friend And I Have The Same Problem,…………. First,. I Was Always Invisible,…. Now,.. It Goes Visible,. To Invisible,. And So Forth,. Its Crazy !!!
hi cupcake!……does it show your friend as online in profile if they are offline on your buddy list? At first i thought they were on invisible and didnt want to talk to me or something but when i check the profile say 5 times in a row…it shows something like online, online, offline, online, online, offline its really wacky….do u think its a glitch in the new yahoo messenger?

Lol,……. As Well As Mine Either Being Invisible When I Am On,. And Visible When I Am Off,. Verrrrrrry Strange !!!
Hey, I’m glad I’m not the only one with this problem! I noticed the other day that it looked like my friend signed off on my buddy list, but when I looked up their profile, it showed them as online. I was upset at first, because I couldn’t understand why they’d go invisible on me or use a stealth setting. I ended up seeing this person the next day though, and it was fine.
Tonight I thought I’d give it another try. My buddy list shows this person as offline, but their profile shows up as online. I called up some of my Yahoo address books that have their id in it, and every two seconds it changed – first offline, than online, than offline, than online, etc. I don’t know what the deal is, but it sucks. I also have buddy spy and used it when it said they were online, but it showed them as offline, and I’m beginning to think that is true, especially since it sound slike other people are having the same problem.
Are u sure that they wernt just invisable? And they for got to turn there profiles to ” hide so user’s cant see when im online” or w/e so thats how u can cetch them. They can go invisable on ur friends list but some done know about that it shows that they are online in there profiles unless they check that box to hide there status. just a question..
