KeymasterMe neither. I checked their site at http://www.ProfileSpy.com and got the following message:
Quote:quote:ProfileSpy.com has been temporarily shut down for reasons to be announced at a later date. Please be patient while we work out our current affairs.Thank you.
–ProfileSpy.com Team
I guess the good news is that they say the shut down is temporary, so keep trying and let us know when it comes back up (and why it went down!).

Memberyup, looks like it is down for good, here is their current message:
Quote:quote:
December 4, 2002Although ProfileSpy is always trying to satisfy its’ customer demands, it is our deepest regret to inform everyone that the ProfileSpy service has been forced to shut down permanently. ProfileSpy was initially a web service which provided both AOL Instant Messenger and America Online profiles on demand to anyone on the Internet. Although we provided a valuable service to many visitors, America Online has disapproved of our service and is unwilling to agree with the continuation of the website. The ProfileSpy team appreciates all of the support and help it has received during its 4 months in operation. If you would like to contact any of the people involved in this project, their names and respective e-mail are listed below. Also, if you are interested in purchasing this domain name, please contact Aaron Pfeifer.

MemberHmm….I’m wondering if there might be any alternatives to ProfileSpy? That would be awesome…because I found out about ProfileSpy too late…right after they shut down :(!
Maybe if there aren’t any alternatives some could be made..:D?!September 20, 2003 at 9:13 pm #67329will1394

Memberthat website didnt work for me. but since there is a way to look at aim profiles and subprofiles on the web, isnt there a way to look at aol profiles on the web? there has to be. just somehow change how you view the profile. anyone have any ideas??????:confused::confused::confused:

Participantas far as I know, no. there isnt any way to view AOL profiles without (A) having AOL or (B) using a site like aol-profile.com, which apparently isnt that reliable.
(by the way… you do realize this topic is over a year old, right?)
