Everytime I use AIM Expansion or GoodAIM (BUild 17) Proxy doesnt work…Can it be because of a firewall? (Norton 2005) and if people can help me with AIM EXpansion it would help a lot! Thanks

I have the Norton 2005 and it doesn’t mess it up GoodAIM works fine on it.

Please post whatever solution you may have on the forums for all to benefit from. While personal IM contact may be quicker sometimes, it doesn’t help anyone here on the forums who has the same problem.

pirated middle man? i thought it was free? why waste time downloading it from untrusted sources on p2p networks, when it is freely available on M:M’s homepage? http://middleman.krunchsoftware.com

im pretty sure she meant MESSENGER:MATE, not middleman for 2 reasons

M:M=messenger:mate which is what was used
M_M=middleman

and MIDDLEMAN is free so how would u PIRATE it?

he’s talking abotu the bearshare thing…

It’s most likely
1) A destructive installer that was being passed around before to trick people who wanted this software pirated.
2) A virus
3) An very early version

In any case I can’t believe some people won’t pay 5$ for a year for something they are going to use everyday.

I got middle man off of bearshare because it said i needed some file…idlemon.dll i think…not messenger mate…
