I was wondering if I bought a Playstation2 to USB adapter, would it work on emulators for old systems such as SNES and Genesis? I’m thinking it probably would, because I could adjust the buttons the way I wanted, and the layout is somewhat similar, but I want to make sure before I buy it.

And you might be wondering why I don’t just buy a SNES to USB adapter, and the reason is because it costs about $10 more, and I’d have to buy an SNES controller which, after shipping, would be a total of about $20 more than just getting the PS2/USB adapter.

Thanks

Yes, I have one and it works fine for my nes, super nes, and N64 emulators. 🙂
