I think it would be a good idea for those promoted here on the BBB to have this promotion mentioned on the podcast. It may not seem like a big deal but being recognized for doing something so well, deserves a little extra patting.
I take it you are talking about princeg’s promotion, no personally we did a notice in the area he had been promoted in, that’s enough.
As in making it part of a podcast nope don’t see your point, the fact that he was promoted in the bbb staff, will have been a massive thanks to him for the work he does on here. I know when I was promoted I was over the moon. I am quite sure he feel’s the same with his promotion. And it was totally deserved he is a top guy that’s why he got the position.
But since the podcast has started we have not had a promotion in the staff so maybe, but I am not so sure general users would be that interested.
I’m not really sure that belongs in a podcast, really only because the podcast is about what’s going on in the world of IMing, and a contest or two here, but we don’t really talk about like updating the fourms or stuff like that.
No Sarah I was not referring to princeG as like you said his has already been posted. I was thinking future promotions, sort of another reason to tune into the podcast for a mention of new promotions, maybe even have the one who is being promoted on the cast that time. chances are my suggestion would not make the cut but i thought it was worth mentioning.
and no mreggsalad your right the show isn’t about so much the site but is hosted by the founder of the BBB and the staff as guest host and would be more of a honorering in mentioning of the new rank.
