Question about YMSG12ENCRYPT.dll

I have been using Y!Invis scanner.exe for about a year with no problems. Yesterday it was showing everybody that I checked status as on line.

I searched goggle and found out that Yahoo had patched any 3rd party utilities that contained this YMSG12ENCRYPT.dll file.

Has anyone else heard this?

From what I was told, it was not the .dll that was patched but merely the login packet.

But I could be wrong.
