I’m just wondering when astra is up and ready for downloading will it cost anything or if is it freeware?
Trillian Astra was just released to a small group of people for first looks and testing, so it won’t be out for awhile. And like Trillian 3.x, there’ll be a free and a pro version, the latter costing some undisclosed amount of money.
It is now available on invitation only. However, it is going to be opened up to Pro members as well very soon.

And when it eventually does, IM would probably be outdated and no longer flavour of the month. Till then, I’ll stick to WLM (which for all its imperfections, is still one nice IM client), thank you very much.
Windows Live Messenger 10 will probably be released before Trillian Astra.:) And WLM will be better.
