Quick
MemberRecently, from being bored, I’ve been working on a small little app that just sits in your system tray and allows you to connect to your PC using a web browser, to view your AIM messages.
So if you are out at a friends house, or at the airport or something, as long as you have internet access, you can connect into your computer via a web browser, to your IP, and view who has sent you a message, and you can actually view them.
Just throwing this out to see if there would be any interest in something like this. It works with AIM 5.9, with or without DeadAIM or Messenger:Mate. If no one has any interest, or thinks it won’t be used, well, atleast I had some fun writing it.
Thanks,
Quick(To the admins, hopefully this isn’t considered spam, but if it is, feel free to delete the post)

MemberSounds good. Do you have a link to a download? I know you said AIM 5.9, but does the full range of 5.9 work and does 5.5? What about OS support?

I’ll get something up this weekend. It will support 98, ME, 2000, and XP (and Vista to, I assume, but not tested, nor will it be). I just have a few tweaks and such I want to make to the UI.
It should support 5.5 as well, assuming that the window handle names haven’t changed.

MemberWaiting a little longer than I wanted. It was a program I made about a year ago, and had some features I’d like to add before releasing (ie. better password protection).

MemberI have released QuickAIM 1.0 Beta1. I’m currently in the process of getting up a basic website, but I did throw up some forums incase someone actually uses this.
You can download it directly from http://www.decimation.com/quickaim/QuickAIM.zip
