i’d like to have an option of rating a user…have their ratings under or beside their names…people can rate other users on the posts that they make…or just have it where the moderators can rate a user…it’s just a suggestion.
That’s an interesting suggestion, but I think it might hurt people’s feeling if they get a not-so-good rating.
true but i think that someone people would give people bad rates just because of like where there from or if they dont like them you know what i mean?
I would never rate someone. Opinions you have about someone should be yours only. You shouldn’t try to put a stamp on people, that way others won’t get a chance to make a fair first impression.
Interesting suggestion, but with no doubt there’s going to be some asshole going around purposely giving everyone the lowest possible rating just for the heck of it.
And if some asshole moderator doesn’t like the member? Anna… Faizan? ftt…. (kidding…. sit down… wipe the spit on your monitor, grab a nuther coke)
Rating people could be very touchy. Rating posts on the other hand, I would support, though I’d probably want to limit it to the moderators, just so Bill and his friend Steve couldn’t artificially boost their own popularity. 😉

Regarding rating members, well this is not a good idea because I would be at the bottom of the list. 😀 Just joking.
Rating member’s post is a very good idea though. I think there is a modification for Snitz which lets the author of the topic choose one reply out of all the given, and that one counts as the perfect answer, and person who helped gets a point. I can’t remember what it was called though. Jeff, do you know what I mean?

Conceptually, yes, I know exactly what you mean. I’m not familiar with the MOD you mentioned though. If you or anyone else runs across it, send me a link! 😀
