Hi guys, its been a while since I was here… :DBeen busy lately.
Anyway, I would just like to ask if someone could teach me how to re-enable the CD drive in my PC. You see,it seems our IT guy disabled my CD-R, as I can’t see it on Explorer or My Computer. But, you can load CD to the drive, its just it won’t do a thing… hehehe…I also can’t seem to find it in the Device Manager…:crying: I have tried googling about it, but not much luck from the results.
So, I hope someone could shed light on how to re-enable my CD drive.
By the way, I am on Windows 2000 with Admin rights…
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Are you connected to a domain? if so, its unlikely that you can override the security policy. (Other options would include using Virtual device software, or a flash drive)

I haven’t check the BIOS, but I’d like to ask, if its listed/activated in the BIOS, how can I re-enable it in Windows? I am not connected in a domain.
Thanks again.
