These bots keep trying to boot me but they can’t as I’m using Y!Tunnel Pro. He must have me on his buddy list so he try everytime I come on line. Can I remove me from his buddy list?
Also, is there any other way to tell what the real ID is? I’ve got one which is l3ot_numl3er_68..
You cannot delete anyone from another persons buddylist. In the new Yahoo Messenger, you can set stealth settings so that you appear offline everytime just for this person in question. Therefore the bot wouldn’t know you are online, so in theory, wouldn’t attempt to boot you.
You could try http://trolling_around.tripod.com or http://www.geocities.com/trolling_around for the deletion features.
Actually martin bradley2002, it is indeed possible to remove yourself from anothers Yahoo! contact list. Up until Yahoo changed protocols last week, DenyBuddy was able to do this, but I don’t think it is able to now. I would use Brian’s suggestion and see if trolling around works for you.
